In order for the parquet to cope with the climate fluctuations between dry winters and humid summers, the parquet strip must be dried to a specific moisture content. In Sweden, this ratio should be 7% (+1%). If the moisture content is higher, the parquet will shrink and if it is lower, the material will expand.
To get consistent quality, we pick up
raw material from a few selected suppliers.
The plank should be slightly bevelled to guarantee that there is a tight space between the planks.
